  hi anyone here a black belt hoder in tkd? wondering if u know what is the procedure to convert junior black belt to full black belt. i stopped training last time and now i want to get back into it. so what belt should i wear in the mean time and how do i officially convert? am i allowed to wear the full black b4 i officially convert?

  you should wear your junior black belt if ur under 16 years old. once u reach 16 years old ( your birthday) you automatically convert to black belt. Dont have to go for any additional grading unless u want to promote to 2nd dan. haha.. going to go for training again?

  i am already 20+ lol...yeah i stopped training after i got my 1st poom...now i am studying in uni i want to join my uni club more for exercise. thanks for ur reply. so i guess i should be wearing a full black now?

  oh btw, by right i think i need to convert my poom cert to a dan cert with STF...anyone know the procedure?

  haha i not sure if ur registered with stf or not.. they keep changing procedures. just to be safe, u better get your grading card and go to your uni club. they should be able to help u with the paperwork. but yea.. u can wear black now.

  yah i have a 1st poom cert from STF so i should be in their records. only thing is now i am studying in australia so not sure how am i gonna officially convert. nowadays the dan cert is issued by kukkiwon in korea rather than the individual countries. oh well i think i'm not going to be involved in competition or grading so doesn't really matter.

  you got to go back to your coach. By right, you are suppose to verify that you never stop training so they will convert your junior black to senior black. haha
  maybe can ask your coach to cover up loh

  ur fren's gan jie how old? wahahaha.. nvm. -.- probably older than me. anyway black belt also not that impressive la.. alot of blackbelts can't fight for nuts. So many blackbelts in singapore.. but so little actually participate in national / spex tournaments etc.
