  Pulp fiction uses a lot of derrogative American slang that is why many catch no ball, it would be like forcing an American to watch a singlish movie.For entertainment value this movie is unusual but good enough

  I find it mildly amusing that most Singaporeans (Chinese Educated & Upbringing) would find the most brainless action movie to be praised beyond belief.
  
  And find intellectual movies to be lousy and lame.
  
  I give the benefit of the doubt to movies that are globally critically panned.
  
  But for movies which do well in the US & other eng speaking countries and people here generally find it lame.
  
  I just find it funny.
  
  Only reinforces my conclusion most Singaporeans like movies with big action & less talking (& more sex too)

  Movies like the Passion of Christ and Letters of Iwo Jima are considered bad, while I Not Stupid gets incomprehensible amounts of praises.
