  I'm wondering if it's OK to give roses and a card to a friend as present.
  
  Or should top up with something else that is more durable that she can keep for remembrance since roses last only a few days?

  roses are quite ok la.. doesnt mean anything as long as theres an occasion behind it so that she doesnt get mistaken

  depends on the girl i guess.
  if it's me, i wouldn't like flowers because they wilt and die. i'd rather receive an adult ezlink card with $100 stored value.
