In other words,he is saying "heck what other people say,as long as I am happy,I dont give a damm about others."
Any comments?
well diff people have different goals in their lives, for some people they strive to be better all the time and have high expectations of themselves. they are happy when they accomplish something, you cant impose other values like "just heck care and be happy" on them because its not their values. similarly a person might be happy and content with being average and you cant force them to be an accomplished person because they cant.
if the JC student gets motivated and works harder and gets more As, then he will be happy, thats what he wants in his life what.
