This one from Mars or Venus? If we do something about it and protest on the streets, the "authorities" will let us?Originally posted by LanceNgo:We're supposed to be a First World nation, mature and leading the way. Yet when something doesn't go our way, our first instinct is to ask the authorities to look into it, rather than be proactive and do something ourselves.
Please, let's not be a nation of whingers. Rather than pass the buck, try to come up with an alternative solution. "

How true. The cut-off point system is rubbish because I couldn't get the course/school of my choice. How unfair that it went to someone who got a better score.Originally posted by Gaara*:i got 54pts and i wana go rjc cus it is my dream to study there .. ya i agree the cut off point system is bullsheit![]()
No, they will kindly ask us to protest indoors.Originally posted by AndrewPKYap:This one from Mars or Venus? If we do something about it and protest on the streets, the "authorities" will let us?![]()
Relax... No one will point at you with a finger of accusation and say "shut up".Originally posted by LanceNgo:Like i said i am not saying that cut of point is totally wrong, i just want the bar to be set realistic to the enrolment requirement rather than a method to eliminate student in the fastest and most efficient way.
What i want is reviewing the system and make necessary changes not abolish anything.
