How to remove damp & musty smell from wallets?

I always buy new leather wallets coz my leather wallets smell damn bad after a while. Does anyone know how to get rid of the smell?

it's your sweat being absorbed by the leather, then causing decomposition of the leather
try not to put your wallet in your pocket too much
