  when i ORD 1.5 years ago i wore the SAF leather shoes (the old Shield brand) to work everyday. recently it got pretty worn out so bought a new one from Bata.

  Doctor martens. Personal experience, your ankles will wear out first. Took so long to season it, and it still gives me blisters occasionally.
  
  Another one is kings safety boots. I got a complimentary pair thanks to my job. But make sure you order one size smaller, coz all models come with 5 toe steel caps, your feet will feel like they're in vivocity.
  
  I tried stomping on them boots, luckily the midsole comes with steel also, or my leg will most probably be in plaster now.
