im a 1.6 male single... ok nvm the male single... so square tipped shoe will make me look shorter, so would prefer to wear U tipped shoe... any recommendations? -

their designs are quite limited in sg. Can check out their UK/US website or get a friend to buy from overseas.

maybe u can try dr mart or hush puppies.. cos the heels are thicker.. may look better. -
oh oh, just remmebered, there are shoes for guys that can "increase" your height. Came on in our local mandarin show before.

the extremely soft leather hush puppy shoes are damn comfortable.

Johnston & Murphy - extremely comfortable with a classic design that never goes outta style!

Why not take a trip down to Robinsons or CK Tangs and take a look at their shoes.
I am assuming that thread starter is working in a white collar job.
There are 2 shoe (pun) of thoughts. The european styling which is slightly tappered than the american ( flat front shoes)
Personally i prefer a european cutting as its less common and it looks more formal. taste may differ.
Down to the shoe brands.Yes you can get your Bata, Pedro,Primevera shoes.Robinsons & Tangs also offer quite a gd selection of affordable shoes like Hush Puppies, Passporte and Renoma or Braun Buffel.
i own 2 pair of shoes, 01x pair of Braun Buffel , 01x pair of Mario Fagli and 01x pair from Bruno Magli. yes they are pretty expensive, ard $280 , $200and $400. but they are going gd after 2 years. no hard core leather wear and tear.
Of course you have to do your part, i apply shoe cream and carbuna wax on a weekly basis, and its been serving me well.
Lastly, the sound of a pure leather sole echoing the corridor is rather empowering =)
