Definitely Bally, Ferragamo and Gucci. NOT because they are branded but THEY really really last. My honey wore his for more than 10 years already (alternating them on days) and they are still in fashion and as good as he first bought them. All he need to do is change the sole every six months (yeah he drag his feet a bit )
I said invest in a really good pair and brush them every other day with wax and it will last and last and last. GL

Bally and Ferragamo do make gd shoes. and yes they do come at a price. But my brother swear by their comfort and feel. Why not just go down to CK Tangs and Robinsons for your pick . They bought them at ard $200 per pair.You may be able to get it cheaper at Tangs now that they are having a 75 yr anniversary sale. A Citibank card there might also snag some extra discounts. -
