Because it is confirmed that the universe is full of building blocks of life... i.e water, sun light, carbon, nitrogen, etc... and it was confirmed that organism can live is the harshest of condition... even in the moon of Io... Plus this solar system has 9 planets... and we have 1,000,000,000++ stars galaxy... and infinite number of galaxy... so the chances of there being aliens are plausible...
But I more interested in the string theory...
