  If an ipod has been bought for 5 months already, can i still register for it's warranty?
  
  is there a deadline from the date of purchase for the registration? impt... pls help

  Ipod/Apple product warranty takes effect from date of purchase.

  Ask for the the receipt from the seller.
  
  If not, no warrenty liao.
  
  The online thing is nonsense, the service counter only recognises the receipt in Singapore.

  If you don't have receipt, they can still trace your date of purchase through ipod serial no.

  Hope anyone can help me in this!
  
  currently using an ipod shuffle, 2nd generation, 1 gb.
  
  itunes states that i am currently using 519 mb for my mp3, with 41 mb of free space left. the remaining 407mb is occupied with 'other data'.
  
  how do i delete or decrease this 'other data'? because it is consuming too much of my space!

  you use it as hard disk or anything? the 'other data' might be your other non-music files...

  last time i rmbred, there's no need to sign up for warranty. if your warranty ends, and you wanna extend it, then yeah, gota sign up and put in some cash.
