Sitting beside a fat man

I usally don't like a fat man/woman to sit beside me. I think they should sit with those of their sizes. If you say it's because they are fat and therefore they want to sit beside those not so fat people, don't you think they are selfish? They should think also for these not so fat people that they also wouldn't want to sit with them. What do you think?

U more selfish lah. This is a discrimination. Leave the overweight people alone. Do you think, if they have a choice, they would want to be fat? Learn to be sensitive to these people.

Who ask you to be so thin? Eat fatter then they won't sit next to you.
You should instead focus your hatred on those people who pretend to fall asleep when old people or people with children/pregnant step into the train. -

No wonder there is a report about fat children.
It said that the fat children are either the ones getting bullied or the ones bullying others. -
U make it sound so easy, for some its simply a matter of bad lifestyle n habit, but for a lot of others it is also genetic. I have lost a lot of weight before and have even been rather toned, but it is simply too difficult for my body to maintain that condition for long especially now that im working at a desk job. I agree. Some people are genetically made to be fat. Same goes with people who are big size (big boned)

Ultimately Buses & MRT seats are REALLY small in the first place. Obviously designed by midgets and made for midgets. Even the smallest person fits in the seat quite snugly.
But then again if you wanna complain.. if you were really smart, you would be driving a car instead of taking public transport.
Learn how to co-exist! Singapore will eventually become like HK... (Overpopulation) -

I disagree on the bus part. Those old old buses have very spacious seats compared with those so-called new buses. At least when I put my Ikea cupboard down, people can still sit down, facing me, it's something I don't see when I sat on the new bus.Originally posted by Ignatiaus:I agree. How can you disagree when you say new buses not as spacious as the old buses when the old buses don't run anymore?

i usually dun have a problem unless i am already sitting beside one,then on my other side is a vacant seat,then another big size fellow come and want to squeeze into it so end up i am being squeezed in the middle.....

put your bag on the seat next to u so people wont come to sit with u

So you're suggesting that all public transportation must be refurbished with much much wider seats to cater for those really obese people...anyway, fat or thin they're also humans & do you think they like to be fat themselves...anyway, do spare a thought for them plz
