I'm a twenty year old guy waiting to enter university this year. I have quite serious acne problems every since I was in secondary 3. When I'm in army I went to NSC but the antibiotics doesn't seem to help until I took accutane. My skin immediately cleared and no new pimples grow but once I stopped taking the medicine the pimples start to come back.
Now it's 4 months since I stopped the medication already and the pimples keep popping up and doesn't seem to stop. I'm wondering whether I should go back to NSC since I'm a subsidised patient and it will be cheaper there. But the antibiotics they gave me never help and I can't keep taking the accutane as it will cause serious side effect. Or should i spend more money and find a private dermatologist or go to beauty specialist like Men's Expression that deal with face problems.
I booked an appointment next week at NSC already and will like to seek the opinions of people here before I go. Maybe I should save the money and go somewhere else.
