  For me yes!! happened before~~ tought time
  
  then how you guys pull throught?
  
  cut down your meals?
  
  Borrow from ppl?

  Year 2003 I learnt a painful learnt by having only $1000 to last throughout the year.. That taught me a invaluable lesson to be thrifty and to store up a substainable amount of reserve....

  Find temp / PT job to earn some money.
  
  If you want to borrow, most will tell you they don't have money...even a close friend said that.

  Have before. Lucky i m those who dont like shopping and chiong one. So not a problem to me.. during that period.. i stayed at home everyday. Eat at home.. and i still remember that time is almost Chinese New Year.. heng.. my 2nd bro give me some money to buy clothes. But end up i never spend ... i keep it.. in case i reali need money urgently.

  - cut down your expenses on leisure, entertainment and others which aren't as important as food.
  - go get a job if you want some cash to keep flowing.
