  Its very very hard to master that kinda thing, it aint empty, just open your mind and you will like it

  Erm, its just practice, i have done stuff of similar complexity level. I find it empty cos he seems to piece together repetitive sound motifs that is mostly impressionist in nature to create a sonic 'landscape' that is unfortunately a bit too 2 dimensional for my personal tastes. Problem is the music contains little tension and harmonic inventions that can 'connect' with the emotions of the listener.

  If you remove, completely, the technical difficulty of the piece, would you still like his music? Close your eyes and listen, don't look, forget how he plays it. If you can honestly say u still like it and find it compelling, then i concede that it is truely a matter of personal taste.

  Really good music, loaded it on to my PSP and played it when i sleep, 1st time in such a long time i had a good night's sleep! =D yea its personal taste

  Too much style, not enough substance. Meaning, didn't evoke emtional reaction for me. Just my 2 cents.
