Get a Electro-Harmonix USA Big Muff Pi.Originally posted by OldSchool:my behringer effects pedal got fried thanks to some genius friend of mine.
so now looking for new pedal.
im thinking of getting a pedal something like this "http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?StockCode=EG01340"
my friend used it - distortion and wah sounds pretty good for $149.
however, its kinda gay to have the exact same pedal, so im thinking of looking for a pedal thats cheap (below 200) and the distortion sounds something like that Korg pedal.
any effects pedal to recommend?

Like the legendary Big Muff Pi of the 70's, the reissue has three controls that let you dial in the finest harmonic distortion/sustain ever produced. The Volume control adjusts the output level. The Sustain control optimizes the long sustain with just the right amount of harmonic distortion. The Tone control provides a range of sounds, from warm bass to crisp Treble. The USA-Made original Big Muff Pi is housed in the original-style silver steel chassis and comes packaged in a distinctive pine box.
you mean Multi-Effects? How much is your budget?Originally posted by OldSchool:well, im thinking of getting those pedals that you can have different configurations - like setting 1 is just WAH, setting 2 got heavy distortion.
single pedal will be second choice.
