  of cos can do other things lar.. like library..study together..movie is just because its dark..cold..and u sit beside each other..and do anything others wont notice nia

  i told my dear that i dun wan to go watch movie for our first date
  
  reason is once we go into a movie, a few hours is wasted...when we cud be having meaningful conversations to know each other better
  
  so we went to take a stroll, went eat in restaurant before he sent me back

  when i first met with my wife, i oso ask her out for a movie..i think its more appropriate to start off with makan or movies, at least after that still got topic to talk about mah.and that is when couple start to talk with each other and understand more.
