keep the nails straight?

  hi guys~
  
  basically i have a problem here. because i am hammering a nail board for my gf, coz she needs it for her work, but den i run into some problems here.
  
  how to keep the nail straight when u are hammering dem? mine is a bit crooked though....

  stop hammering, you'll make it worse!

  just hammer like that lar..if crooked then adjust by hammering it back to position..or the safest is to use 2 finger and support the nail making it stright and hammer it in.. but if u hammer ur own finger dont blame me..

  issit? but can we adjust the position dat we hold the hammer?

  use a nail stapler.
  
  or
  
  nail the nail softly and slowly instead of banging it straight in.
  first few knocks to get it in place, then second knocks to get in deeper. then last knock all the way.
  keep your wrist firm and straight.

  u using panel nail?
  
  hit it abit inside, then, aim at it again, then use ur strength to hit it allll the way in

  because i am nailing it onto a wood piece...hmm.....ok~....
