  New resource centre to be set up by year end to promote and strengthen marriages. Hah, so serious!!! ARe they going to promote marriage like campaign or advertising, we shall see!! Just wonder is there really a need to set up a resource centre to do so, sounds rather "kua zhang"! Do you think govt is overdoing it to encourage Singaporeans to get married?

  3 years later. you see another resource centre to promote and strengthen baby-making. and it's a package that comes with the marriage package.

  I read it from CNA textline, nothing is said if it is run by gahmen or not. Definitely gahmen has given green light for this to be set up. Sounds artificial leh!!

  Let's wait and see what they come up with to get people to marry. See if they going to give goodie like what they do to encourage birth rate. May be they sponsor honeymoon but couple must put $$$ in account show the gahmen $$$ first then they pay for honeymoon - just like the way they give baby bonus. ha ha ha!!!!
