Singhealth Polyclinics - Geylang Lunch break hours 12 noon

the lunch break hour start from 12 noon, registration start again 1330 hrs.
7 counters for registration
there are total 11 doctors in this building,
3 payment counters
4 medicine collection counter.
doctor lunch hours 30 min
what about the registration staff? 1hour 30 min LUNCH break?
@ 1330 hrs the screen appear waiting time 2 hr 30 min for consultation
patient in Q increase from 28 till 68 @ around 1400 hrs -
is it possible the clinic staff include doctor rotate lunch timing without require to shut down for 1hr 30 min ?

just because they are not open for registration, doesn't mean they are on lunch break..
they are probably clearing the paperwork generated in the morning and getting ready for the madness of the afternoon shift... -

even medicine chit also printed copy now -
at my office, a lot of things are online.. but we are guilty of tree genocide..
because everything has to be printed out and filed away for reference later.. and that's a sad fact...
we have softcopy, the stuff that's in the HDD, softcopy backups, softcopy archives, CD archives, network drive backups...
then printed out paper for the files, printed out for archives, for backup..
you name it...

other backup print hard copy should be done by IT specialist's
therefore still should not shut down for lunch break,

more than 68 patiences waiting for more than 2hr 30 min
that too much
they can do it after 4:30 pm monday to friday
and after 12:30 pm (Sat) -
go lunch also cannot....
maybe ppl like to come see doctor during lunch time? maybe that 1½ hour is divided into 2 lunch groups within registration staffs so it might be running but very slowly? -

got 11 Doctors, if 5 go still got 6 con't see sick people.
registration counter got 6 counter staffs,
if 3 counter staff go lunch still got 3 service sick people
but they all stop 12 noon till 13:30 then start again

Lunch time is 1 hour. They have to stop at 12 noon to give all the doctors and nurses time to finish up with the last consultation what. Do you expect everyone to down tools exactly at 12.30 and push the patients out before the consultation is complete?Originally posted by zaxis:Not cannot go lunch
