for each dog you adopt, you alleviate the burden of the volunteer organizations and give an adopted dog more happiness than you would a purchased puppy.
they're all dogs, those adopted dogs will shower you with as much, or even more, affection than a pure breed and if they're a cross-breed, they have higher resistance towards diseases too. -
