Need advice on whether to retake A level

I wish to retake the A level but am currently in NS now. Just POP-ed in March.
Wanna seek advice on whether I should retake this year or retake the exam only in 2008. My rationale is that if I retake only in 2008, I will have more time to prepare for it and since I'm into 2nd year of NS, it might be easier to cope.
I've checked and 2008 will be the last year to take the old syallbus.
What do you guys think? Do advise. Thanks! -
take the nearest one. so when u fail again, u can still go for the next one.

I say, take it asap while the syllabus is still relatively fresh in your mind. -

The MOE will charge you an extra $50.00 for late registration fee now.

24 March is the last day. 25 to 28 March, extra $50.

I would suggest you head straight to poly or overseas or just take any course that you could go into in uni currently. I know of too many cases that ppl took private A levels and all did even worse compared to their initial results. it seems that a no schooling lifestyle often make ppl lazy, unless you got great discipline. But due to the irregular ns lifestyle, its really difficult to study.

I don't think anyone can tahan taking A levels 3times. If you do badly for your next A lvls, do you think you still got energy to go take again for a 3rd time? So I think its better to be really prepared and put all your effort in your next attempt. Don't think if I fail this year, still got next year.
Frankly, taking A lvls in Jc is already so hard and I believe to do so in NS will be doubly hard and so you need to be really disciplined there. A lvl was a nightmare to me anyway. Like 10x O lvls.

Dun do something just for the sake of doing it. Rather, look further and determine what your aim for a career is? Certain courses could be pursued without the A levels as in you could do a diploma first den advanced diploma before doing your degree.......

if u are stay in personnel, strongly recommend not to take. It is impossible since u have very little time. Somemore, during JC if u can't do well, what makes u think u can do well during army when there is much much lesser time available
