  I would like to see him try tho... for example.. even if Japan copied Chinese architecture, who is to say they did not 'improve' on it? Original doesn't automatically mean it is better.... Also, since he imply Japanese architecture is different from Chinese, how exactly are they different?

  There are differences, stemming from the different conception of aesthetics, but i wont go into that here. Anyway i have no reason to hate him, i actually do think tang dynasty architecture is ONE of the most beautiful in the world, but i wouldn't be that arrogant or ignorant to say its the MOST beautiful.
