Anyone knows if it's true that disobedience to lawful order is, without a doubt, liable to DB sentence? Had a friend from one of the airbase's FDS caught possessing (,not even using) a PSP (apparently they ban it for their squadron) by his staff sgt., brought the matter up to his OC and was given 10 days DB. And 1st timer to be precise.
Either my friend's joking with me right now, or that there's really something wrong with the military law, or sanity of the authorities in the military. Even if it's lawful to do so, is there a need to impose the maximum punishment? For all we know, we even get to see key appointment holders in base violating traffic laws in camp, but no one could lay their hands on them cos' of the power they wield.
Doubt there's any violation to the Official Secret Act, or is there? Admin feel free to delete this post if there is. -

Yes. Your OC or whoever has every right to put him to DB. First timer or not is up to his discretion.
Failure to adhere to orders is one thing.
Bringing in restricted items is another thing. -
