  I going Christchurch, but only 5 days... what should i see? Any LOTR sites near there worth seeing or just plain rip-off?

  Try a curise thru milford sound the scenery there is nice.

  Lived in NZ for the past 3 years. Was in south Island touring 2-3 times. Best place near Christchurch would be Kaikoura, but now Autumn season, so maybe not really that pretty. Go up to hammerspring too, the massage there is good.
