Why Are PPl So Crazy About EPL(English Premier League)

i myself is not a fan of soccer, but i dont understand why so much ppl are so crazy about EPL, idolising the players, thinking EPL has the best soccer players . So much adverts on EPl n the players, n so much broadcast of EPL matches on TV.
From wad i know there are so much other foreign soccer leagues but why arnt they recognised?
Can someone confirm this ? Is EPL players England players? If they are i dont understand wads so good about them? Look at World Cup , England always fail to make it to the top teams?

not all EPL team are full of english players
Arsenal is a fine example -
because they speak english

IMO,most teams in EPL play much physical and beautiful football compared to SERIE A and some other leagues.

Because S'pore is a former British colony and we r more adapt to
British culture, that y EPL appeal to us more than other football league.
Oso EPL in terms on $$$$ is the most expensive league and alot of
foreign player would like to go to play at EPL.

ok, for your information, there are many ppl out there who are football fanatics, like me...we watch football on tv, plays winning eleven/fifa 2007, eat, sleep and talk football...not only EPL...but, you'll find the majority of football fans here supporting EPL clubs because we have been brought up watching english football...from the old Division 1 to the current premier league...i have been supporting Manchester United since 1985...football matches were shown every sunday afternoon, and then we have Road to Wembley on wed nites...those were the days...
though i've been supporting Man Utd for over 2 decades, my fav internation team is Italy, and my fav player is Roberto Baggio...pls do not always think that all football fans who watches EPL supports england...
now, you do not have to force yourself if you do not like football, similarly, do not expect your friends to like body building just because you are into it... -

nottingham forest is consider as a great club, for their glory
and let me ask you a question, have chelsea reach the final of champion league
at least, man utd won it once during their treble year, arsenal has reached the final, liverpool done it before
given the massive amount of funds, why didn't chelsea able to done what this 3 club before, please, don't make me laugh, so what chelsea, have done it before, win the champion league this year, shut my mouth up, do something what alot of club can't do
