Need help with my bitcomet!!

  Hi i just got a new comp and my bitcomet downloads damn slow for high seeds or doesnt even start for lower seeding files.
  Can someone help me out?? I heard its something to do with the firewall and port and all that stuff but i not so savvy so im not sure what to do.

  I know you might not buy my crap, but after I changed to a new linksys router, my bt speeds went up at least 40%. And that's even before I played around with the router settings. I must've been missing out alot before that.
