Please help! How to kill lizards?

My house is full of lizards these days.
How I know? Every day I keep having to use tissue papers to clean up the lizard sh|ts on the wall, on the floor and these days even in my bedroom.
I know there are stuff to kill cockroaches and ants. But today at the supermarket, I find nothing that can help rid of lizards.
How? -
I don't know how you can get rid of them besides smacking them...I listened to my office cleaning lady once and doused my desk with a fragrance because she said it keep e lizards away
As a result, my desk was so "fragrant" it gave me headaches and my desk reeked of it for weeks!
e darn lizard "chuckled" from my desk everytime i went near it!

I just saw 1 running on the floor in my house..
I don't even dare to kill it , let alone touch it..
Use bayon ^^ -
you can go to the Mobil stations or supermarkets and get lizard traps...
they are boxes which lizards can get in but cannot get out.. and inside the traps are some kind of pheromones which attract the lizards to go into the box...
after a few of them are in the box, just throw it away... -
be careful its tail dun get detached..
coz it will run into ur nose!
well, that's wat i have been hearing from my mum since i was a kid..
and ple say, never kill a lizard.. coz if u do, sooner or later, u will find ur house full of lizards and lizard eggs! They will be back for revenge.

i used to be irritated by their noise and droppings
but now they are my pets
jus let them be lah
pretty harmless.....
i hate golden beetles though
jus killed one (with insecticide) -
those are irritating.. they fly into my room and if i can reach it, i grab the thing and throw it out the window with force

Well... i know lizards eat insects... could it be that your house also got alot of their prey?
i think they also eat cooked rice 1... coz near my rice cooker there sometimes can spot them( so must be careful to cover the rice cooker fully). is it coz you have food lying around?
anyway, they're not pest..

NTUC should have because recently i just saw them selling lizard traps.
my ah ma says that pandan leaves will keep lizards away. dunno whether true or not, but my kitchen now place alot of pandan leaves.
and pandan leaves smells really sweet and pleasant. won't give you headaches or wad. -
Those sticker lizard catcher might be a great help to u.. But it a liitle costly for a good quality one..

Lizards are your friends, not pests.
If you see tons of lizards around, it means that there is an insect infestation in your home, for usually we don't put out much food that the lizards eat.
If you get rid off all the lizards, you might find yourself overwhelmed with bugs.
So might as well target the bugs, if the bugs are gone the lizard numbers will naturally drop.
But I like lizards leh... -

those of you who like lizards, why dun you move to my house so that you can fall in love with them?
They have been eating my bread, my breakfast, sh1t on my wall, in my kitchen etc etc.
So what if they rid of other pests when they are pests themselves? It's like having a domestic helper who diligently clean your toilets for you and then shi1t in your living room.
I feel like calling pest control siah. But may be overdoing it leh.
Today will go petrol kiosk to see if I can find anything. -

Just hammer them senseless if you need to engage population control.
Else, leave them be...they take care of the flies for you.
I prefer to kill cockroaches...they are the real household pests.
