  good evening ladies n gentlemen
  
  was just wondering..
  
  how do u make animated gifs smaller? as in the size in terms of bytes, not dimensions.
  
  was pondering over whether i should post this in chit chat or tech forum, but i dun think it fits into tech forum since it's not exactly IT related. please do correct me if i've posted this topic in the wrong forum.

  u can drop the colors resolution.

  Reduce it from 256 colours to greyscale.

  but do i need any program to change the colour resolution? preferably free program, tt is..

  erm..i using macromedia..
  but u can try using mspaint itself. cos by default mspaint's color is not very good.
