  I used to go "pak toh" with my wife (then GF), watching a movie in the Pavillion cinema and shopping in SOGO in the DBS, then catching a meal at the Japanese restaurant in the basement (can't remember the name). How sad...
  
  Actually, the DBS and Pavillion buildings are still relatively new buildings, barely only 15 years old.

  If i can remember correctly, the DBS building was much older as it was the first commercial building in Tampines Central.
  
  I remember Tampines Mall and Century Squares first open their doors for business between 1995 to 1996.
  
  The Pavillion has been a hangout for hooligans in recent years so i think it's a good thing that it is torn down.
