i was pretty much like pupuger but that was when irc, or maybe galaxynet was probably 10x more packed many years ago. probably complaining over some paid services would like ur internet connection would make this effort worthwhile, but for IRC? complaining? lol.
pupuger: count yourself lucky that they actually entertained u for that period of weeks, gotten replies and stuff like that. i wouldnt want to comment on their efficiency, but i guess most pple probably wouldnt get so much attention frm ircopers.

Hi Pupuger, IRC used to be a place for friends to chat and keep in touch. IRC is so addictive that I can get stuck for 8-10 hours per day, in the past you will never see proxies or experience network server getting attack.
The reason why IRC (GalaxyNet) is dying because the abused of IRCOPS. They(the founders) created the network and it's sad that they themselves abuse the network. Trust me no matter what you do, the result will still be the same! They're not gonna to change it, the people here is going to ignore it.
So I hope you can move on and stop using the IRC thingy, if not join other server. GalaxyNet is a goner, w/o the huge numbers of people from LANCRAFT and other gaming channel, they will never survive.
It's glamorous to get IRCOP status in the past but not now.
Well pupuger hope you listen to my advice and move on with it. Wasting your time on this is not worth it, life is short why not do something more meaning or something that will make you happy right? Good luck girl!
