  Anyone heard of this modelling agency in Park Mall? Are they reliable?
  Told to pay for portfolio $280 for 15 pics (1 look), $100 - 15 pcs (2nd look), another $100 for another diff. look etc. Com card- free.
  
  Went to the studio, found many girls there, some very plain & short, all signing up for modelling.. Very fishy.
  
  Anyone signed up & got jobs from them??

  don't bother. there are so many people alrd signing up, no offence but even if they dont cheat you for the port folio $$, what makes u think people will select you to be their models

  I didn't sign but just wondering. Imagine how much they make- each girl pay $400- $600 or more..
  Just want to know whether anyone else paid & got work from them.

  hey i also got approached by another company called Create Talents. heard tat its under the same director as I Models International. i posted a thread about modelling agencies before, not sure whether i wan to continue leh. i already paid my deposit.

  They asked me to be their model also.....i was walking down orchard road... ....but i did not continue after they said i have to pay 500 dollars,for portfolios,etc...

  they also asked me to go b4..
  but i heard that if a company asks u to pay for ur own portfolio, forget it...
  i might not be correct though..

  Partially true.
  
  If you totally jio or hansum, and the agency thinks u r marketable.. then they will foot the bill..
  
  But then again, paying for ur own portfolios is ok too... who knows there might be a chance someone took notice of u while looking the the models album..
