Super clear, close-up on Google Map!

  Anyone else found similar close-up shots of Google Map? Imagine being able to view so clearness from so far away. I wonder why there are no such close-up views in Singapore though..

  No it isn't real time. They are satellietes images taken over a period of time and compiled together over time. When new images come in, they are updated to the existing ones bit by bit. Something along that line.

  You buy one statelite and give it to Google lor..
  
  They will then use your satelite to "aim" Singapore.

  For GoogleMaps/Earth, after a certain magnification its aerial photo, not satellite. So I believe since the west/northwest of Sg is restricted zone, so there isn't much aerial photo of the area is the public domain

  So.. I guess the Singapore Top Brass asked Google to keep out of these areas? Did it happen in this case?

  This image had been discusses in militaryphotos.net forum before and it is concluded that it is a photoshop image of a plane in flight. Look closely and you can see the wings are darkened and made to look like a cruise missile in flight.

  You think Google will care? They will only agree to use lower-res images at most.

  I think I read it somewhere which it says that Google are not allowed to disclose major military and classified position to the public. But look at it this way, if Google can view it through their satellite but they just censored it, why can't our enemies from other countries do it with their satellite?
