Can a school cane you for not tucking in your shirt?
If the school does what are the legal actions you can take against the school?
And whats the minimal offence for the school to suspend you?
Simple defiance like not letting teacher cut your hair can suspend you?
Where to find the entire list of MOE rules and regulations?
I tot if parents say "no" school can do nothing? -
As long as against school regulations, they can do whatever they want to you....
of cos by tat, MOE's on set of punishment... -

depends. surely the person who tucked out has been warned time after time, till there is no more options, except the rod, but i think that Moe has the final say, instead of the parents, if they are not able to persuade their ward/child to not do a certain action.

my hair is so long, i even put my legs onto of the table before, sleep in the class, went into detention room before, spent almost my entire sec 4 in reflection room, and i almost whack the hell out of one classmate, but i never got canned before
conclusion - i never been rude to my teachers at all -

but got one time, one STUPID THOSE MORON PREFECT, ask me to return those plate, i was like,wtf? those are not my plates, then i walk away
then when we assemble at the assembly square, after when our class is about to leave
my DM ask me to stay back,
then i was...............
he ask me to run up and down,from one end of the assembly square to another end........
no choice, have to run, otherwise i will kenna call to the Principe room..... -

that 1 is i tar for my friend 1. cause he have clean record, i dont want him got 'cane' record. so at the end of the day, i and 2 of my friend went to the prefect that caught me. i talked to the prefect, but nth happen. the nxt day, my bunch of friends went to di siao the prefect. think around 10 people left their plates in front of the prefect. my good friend went to pour the soup at the table. haha. he at there ll, like want cry. then nxt day he come say sorry to me.Originally posted by allentyb:nope i didn't

first and fore most, get many ppl to oppost and say tht it is not right to cane someone becos of such thing
then, tell e principal about it
