Wah lao today tried the food in the foodcourt at tekka mall . I ordered chicken chop after looking at the size of the chicken meat shown on the display menu , told to wait for 10mins , then when i went back to get it , i saw a plate being put into the microwave oven to cook . And horrors after the plate has finished microwaving the fella passed it to me . And when i tried the french fries , goodness sake the fries were so hard man , have to exert some strength to poke it . And the protion of the chicken served is only abt half of what is shown on the menu . although the sauce is nt bad but the chicken is not so tender ( which i had expected it cos i know food or esp meat cooked in microwave tends to be quite hard . ) Not only that my friend bought the nasi bryani from a tamil stall only to find that the chicken and the rice are quite cold , nevertheless she went to order the fu zhou fishball noodle asking for " yiew mee " but the noodle they gave looks more like maggi mee type thickness , and the fu zhou fishball doesn't look the least round at all , not even oval . it looks more like a hammered nail . I'm really quite appalled by the standards the foodcourt hawker served .
really that bad. indeed standard of food dropped
