  wedding rings are difficult to buy...generally gals like the diamond big big in the center...but a matching ring to that for the guy would look ugly...
  
  so have to compromise or dun get matching wedding rings...
  alternatively also can get the diamond ring for keeps and get another set of the No.2 ring for daily wear.

  some gals like to "declare" their "property".
  
  even if the gal is ok with U not wearing the ring daily...U still have the problem of the guy's version of the single diamond ring looking ugly.

  The first is called a diamond solitaire, the 2nd one is a wedding band which the married men wear as well.
  
  The woman can have both - wedding band to wear on a daily basis, the diamond one for special occasions. I don't wear any of them though.
