Anyone withdraw money but forget to take before?

Last time one of my army friends went to withdraw money at the ATM. Instead of taking out just $100, he pressed the wrong button and got $1000 instead. He was so shocked and started looking around to see if anyone noticed, then he quickly put the money into his wallet and walked away.

i kept pressing wrong things..
pressed current acc instead of savings..
and i attempted 3 times i think..
the 3rd time i got it right.. but i pressed wrong button, instead of other cash withdrawal, i pressed $1000. And I got shocked when i saw the stack of $50 notes dispensed.. people behind me were also looking..
luckily the deposit machine was juz few steps away.. quickly deposited back $950.

Today I deposited money and almost forgot to take my ATM card back.

sometimes reli forget, not tat we did it purposely.

Have less than $1000 in your "spending" account lar...
Then no chance of withdrawing $1000 by mistake. -

another case, my boss deposit money into cash-in machine, boss say short of $60 deposited into account. call customer aervice, bank people say the amount was correct, ask my boss to check again. boss angry, ever since never use that bank liao... -
got one bangla forgot, behind him is an aunty..and i was behind the aunty
the bangla just walked away...without taking his cash...and the aunty want to like act blur and dont call the bangla..since i saw it..of coz i shouted at the bangla and told him he forgot the cash

How come so many ppl forgot to take atm card?
i thought machine returns atm card before giving cash?
maybe they can upgrade the system, if nv take card cash dun come out. then ppl who engrossed in take money will realised they forgot their card. -
next time, whn u take the money, prepare a few piece of papeer wid same size and slot it backOriginally posted by TXian:From what I know, if u withdraw le then you forget to take, the atm machine will automatically take back in the cash. That's provided there's no one behind you who takes away before the money is taken back. And the amount will not be deducted from your account.
