  i can only say one thing, don't go to kpmg n EY, both r not welfare oriented!

  poly to ACCA -> get to enjoy life
  CAT to ACCA -> shortest route if u can clear everything one shot one kill

  ACCA is not that easy
  its common to hear people studying 7-10 yrs part time to get that cert

  it is mainly due to those who have no accounting background or r working mothers who have kids.
  most can clear within 5 years.

  hmmm doing ACCA directly from CAT may not allow you to clear everything one shot one kill it may be a longer route.
  
  I used to be from ITE before I went to poly and then now on to ACCA.
  
  I"ve got friends who went directly to CAT after our ITE course without going to poly thinking that its a shorter route to complete ACCA. I was tempted cos it seems to be a shorter one but apparently not, cos you need pretty good writing skills to do up ACCA, without the project reports writing in that you get exposed to in poly, its really tough for you to clear the ACCA papers. So ya, it may seems shorter but consider it carefully, cos most of my mates from ITE are still stuck in the first few papers in Level 2 of ACCA cos they claim that they just can't write the kind of answers that examiners want
