I've found out some suggestions and decided to collate it.
Something useful for you guys..
(anyway, this is common sense so don't display your idiocy to others)
PLS NOTE.
if you can't make o/g and/or rcv i/c calls.
make these checks.
try to..
- switch off and on hp
- do a manual ntwk selection from your own hp; select singtel/m1/starhub.
if not..
- remove sim; take a tissue and wipe the gold magnetic part of the sim card.
- insert it into another cellphone; monitor for abt an hr or two
- if it works (everything is norm); it means the fault lies with the cellphone.
if it doesn't; it means fault lies with the sim card.
- if fault = cellphone; pls refer to phone manufacturer.
- if fault = sim card; walk-in to your nearest telco shop to get a replacement sim card.
there're only 3 main possiblities regarding LS (line status)
- network, cellphone and sim card.
the other rare possibility would be bugs (in your cellphone system).
If all methods can't work; dump your stupid phone into the trash bin and blame your own luck, then get a completely new set (cellphone and sim card) and stop complaining!

Fully agree. Small problems, simple solutions. Some people really are dumb.. making a mountain out of a molehill when they can easily solve the problem themselves... if only they made full use of their brains.

How stupid can people get?
The telco customer service personnel would probably laugh their a*s off at the mere mention of 'why did you cut my line off huh?' and then receive a fully-justified reply of 'cause you didn't pay your bills.'
and then most probably customers would refer to another telco who wouldn't resort to this - as if! What a joke!

onli once when we have class outing at ECP, then we play in water, then found out i still have my phone wid me.....
after a while, my phone have load of problem, massive cannot detect sim card, but how working fine -
