hey, i've heard that they're goin to change the minimum age for driving from 18 to 21 soon, when will it be from?

Like you're said, it's a rumour... My friend who's 18 has already registered for Driving Practical..
They'll prohibits you from driving high horsepower cars for the Probation Period only -

Minimum age starting from 2010 is 23.5years.
If you haven't reach 23.5years, which means even if you're 23years and 4months. You must wait for another month to be allowed to take driving.
So for now, it's 19.5years.

How about the 1990 batch guys? i am very worried...i am afraid that i can't get to drive...heard their changing it to 21 at 2007...some even say that the press relaesed it...are there anyone out there that really saw the news paper coming out with it? coz my frens always says..."hey the newspaper came out..." but when i asked them did you actually see it? they all said its from a fren...zzz but when i called the ssdc and bbdc they said they haven't got the news and there is a possiblity in changing...geez...just hope they don't change...i am a regular and i need to go camp everyday...no car can die...taking public transport everyday simply SUCKS!

I also contemplating to get a driving liscence nxt yr. If they really say 1990 babies have to wait till 21 den can drive, den i jia lat liao, public transport take up a lot of my time siaz...

Minimum driving age was 18, is still 18 and will always be 18.
