  i think you can do it yourself... i'm sure there are ways.
  
  if not, you could hire an agent who would do all the liason and paper work for you... for a fee of course. last i checked, it was for 1 month's rental fee.

  Appoint a housing agt. but have to pay a fee.
  If not, place a classified ad & answer the calls yourself.
  You have to check that the tenant has a work permit & get a deposit from him.

  Depending if you would like to rent your room out on short or long term basis...
  
  If long term basis, get a real estate agent to do the procedures for you.. Can even get them to collect rent and deposit on your behalf to reduce conflicts possibilities..

  if you want to rent out to a foreigner, there are 3 things you MUST do...
  
  1. check his immigration or work pass... they must be valid.. and you must be looking at the original
  
  2. check the original passport.. check the particulars are the same as the pass in check no.1... make sure the person in front of you is the same as the one in the passport..
  
  3. call up MOM (work passes) or ICA (immigration passes) to verify the validity of the passes you have with you... they will send you a verification letter.. keep this for proof in case they lose their status and are arrested.. you will have proof that you have done your checks...
  
  if you do not do your checks, you may be found guilty of harbouring immigration offenders... and the penalties are very severe..
