just graduated.. which job and co to choose?

  dip in accounting n finance. should i apply for accountant / accounts assistant / audit assistant / or maybe even teachers assistant (1 yr contract) in govt sch for a year first while further studying.
  
  what do you all think of the above 4 jobs?
  
  any accountants can share more about the job scope and things you better know how to do..?

  why dun u further ur studies? taking ACCA or a degree...broaden ur spectrum...

  is ACCA or LCCI better? i can sit for the LCCI exam now. i heard acca is very hard to pass..

  i think teacher would be a better choice but as said, wer does ur interest lies?
  u like office bound job or teaching?
  acct more likely to stay 9-5 dealing with numbers, teacher will be teaching n interacting with students, sometimes long hrs.

  no im not thinking of being a teacher and spending years getting NIE cert, teachers -assistant- O lvls can already. not you teaching.
  
  i think accounting / finance career can advance further (salarywise too) than teachers can `

  try to get a job in singapore american sch...
  
  lots of holidays... reasonable pay too..

  Diploma- think cannot apply for accountant job, u need a degree.
  
  If u are thinking for continuing your studies, then choose any job that allows you to leave at 5pm. Most accounting jobs have lots of OT.

  LCCI is lower than ur diploma
  
  with dip, u can go for ACCA... thats the next step.. CAT is the equivalent of ur dip

  If your priority is to study, take a job that will complement your course and is related to the field that you want to work in after you graduate. Something in the accounts or audit line will be useful.

  Go for a chop-chop degree...about 2 years only... it offers you a wider choice and better pay...

  if you want to study part time settle down on your job first. dun take too many subjects at one go.
