Today heavy rain, i carry umbrella walk walk on the street..

then got strong wind blow.... then halfway while walking, i saw some school girls walking towards me n they point at me n giggle n said something amongst themselves.
then i tot maybe they r saying i m yandao... so i smiled back at them lor. then they suddenly laughed out!!!! then i tot something must be wrong!!!!
then i felt my umbrella was a bit strange, coz i started to get hit by rain drops!! then i realized my umbrella was blown up by the strong wind to become like that! upturned umbrella!!!
wah lau, so paiseh leh!!!!
so i faster make back my umbrella to normal shape lor...
haiyo.... so unlucky

never had this experience b4.. alws trust yourself with good umbrellas. those cheap ones (esp foldable) tend to go out of shape during storm days.

Always make contingency plans to look yandao even during stormy days...

i only experienced it in tokyo. that day there was a strong wind warning, one train derailed (actually blown off the tracks) and other trains were either moving very slowly or cancelled (grounded)
those road side stalls with tables had their tables blown away (and i mean really away like from wisma to taka that far it just kept rolling down the street blown by the wind)
so yea, all the umbrellas around me were being turned upside down but as i noticed the females were more worried about their skirts and dresses (why the hell are they wearing skirts n dresses at 11 degrees celcius i wonder) so yea
i had to run into an LV shop to seek shelter from the strong winds. oh well. then i kept hopping from shop to shop down the road like pit stops so i don't have to face the wind non-stop.
