No Drunk People in Singapore?

In all my years living in Singapore (which is a lot I can assure you), I have NEVER seen a drunk Singaporean. Even from midnight to around 5 in the morning around areas heavily populated by nightclubs and bars the only drunk people I've ever seen are foreigners. You don't even see homeless drunk people anywhere. What's even more puzzling is that from 11-past midnight on NEW YEARS' EVE there was not a SINGLE drunk person on the streets, the area around the fireworks display were completely drunk personless. In any other country on New Year's Eve there would be almost hundreds of people stumbling down roads, hundreds upon hundreds of bottles of alcohol lying on the streets and just pretty much everyone being loud and causing minor, and sometimes major, havoc. I know I've posted many of these type of threads asking why Singapore is different but it seems to me that every aspect of Singapore seems to be toned down, even the general size. Once again any comments, ideas or reasons why there aren't any drunks in Singapore please let me know.

I'm not saying there aren't any drunks in Singapore, I'm just saying there are very extremely little. And my definition of drunk is intoxicated up to the level that they can't walk straight and/or start throwing up.

Almost every weekend I'm at a nightclub or a bar and NEVER have I seen one...NEVER!!! I'm totally serious those who doubt me should go out yourselves. And if you do see drunk people around might I ask where? and what about New Year's? NO DRUNKS THEN EITHER! The point I'm trying to get across is not that there aren't any drunks or there are you just need to look for them, having to LOOK for drunks around nightclubs and bars tells me that there aren't many around so as the need to seek them out.Originally posted by Ito_^: u need new specs. -

I seriously think the booze must have been flowing rather liberally during the parliamentary session when the ministers unilaterally voted themselves a pay raise. If they were sober, they would have realized such a decision would have met with a firestorm of criticism from Singaporeans.

i dont understand why u who goes to a club dont see drunk people. i was once fcking drunk. yeap, so fcking drunk that even my female friend had to bring me home. seriously, from ur previous threads, u seriously living in jesusland.

Nah mate you may have been drunk but there aren't many others around like you. No I am not living in Jesusland all my friends have noticed this as well. I watch soccer matches at pubs and no drunks, I go out on New Year's and no drunks I go out to clubs and bars and only drunk foreigners I mean seriously WTF!?!? I think you're the blind one coz if you weren't you would've noticed that my post said that even in clubs I don't see any. Even if there were drunk Singaporeans it still doesn't disprove my point which is Singapore has extremely little drunk people around. Most of the replies state that you can find them at clubs but yes, what about OUTSIDE clubs? On the streets?
