  Social interaction is important. But it is not everything.

  Thanks for the recommendation. I agree with you that most things that matter are learnt, that people are making too big a deal out of instincts. But there's no reason why it has to be one or the other. Besides, that's not a position taken by all sociologists either.
  
  Without learning, there's no change; but without instincts, there won't be any learning to speak of.

  erh i think u pple are quite ignorant..
  
  no knowledge of biology, genetics, psychology and cognitive sciences...
  
  go read up more before jumping to conclusions.....

  Not nice, those are superficial knowledge.
