While you're strolling around, someone comes up to you and asks for your wallet. When you look down, you see a knife in his hand. Then the kanina terus run away after you hand him your wallet.Originally posted by CanadianBornChinese:Care to explain about some parts of KL being "dangerous"?
I don't think "dangerous" as in LA and/or New York is it?
if u want to spend less on transport, take a bus from KL to Singapore. but i won't suggest that if you u not used to long distance bus rides. take a plane maybe.Originally posted by CanadianBornChinese:Yes, this is great.
Carry on and mind giving me some specifics.
I don't exactly know how am I going to get from KL to Singapore. But, I'm sure I will figure that out once I arrive in KL.
Best place to shop for Electronics (specifically cameras?)
I do remember, you guys have a great train system. I believe, I will be living around Orchard Road?
Yes, I heard about "Singlish". I may try it once I am there.

electronics in malaysia is as if not more expensive than stuff in singapore. in singapore, try sim lim square and funan digitallife mall. but let me warn you. sim lim square merchants do cheat people. esp foreigners.
moving around singapore is quite a breeze..
and singlish, you will pick it up as u travel around here lah..
not yet. but thanks in advance.Originally posted by SGpork:![]()

Any "Gwai Lo" hangout spots?
Although its the norm here.
the last i remember was around 4-6 hours on average. there are alot of bus companies for u to take, something luxurious u have to look around at the bus station when u are there..they have plenty of bus companies for u to choose.Originally posted by CanadianBornChinese:Great, thanks for the heads up.
How long is the bus ride if I were to take the bus from KL to Singapore? What bus company do you suggest (something luxurious would be awesome).
Is taking the train a possible solution? Will it be any faster or slower? I have only a week in Singapore.
Great, I will check it out. Can I bargain in Singapore just like in KL?
Any lounges/bars/clubs you highly recommend?
Hey, thanks for all your help.
You have to go to Seremban by KTM first.Originally posted by R3SsH|n:for train, i not sure if they have train direct from KL to singapore or vice versa, u have to ask the rest.
