Bed Bug

Ok.. my friend is having this big big problem with bed bug..
so far, she had thrown away, 1 bed and 1 old mattress and 1 new mattress which is only 2 weeks old.
she got bitten by them also..
if im not wrong, she clear the whole room already.. and thrown her wooden furniture in her room
the bed bug is only in her room and not anywhere else..
any solution for this problem? -

Before she throw all those stuff out, the bedbugs already hide somewhere else and ambush again.

put cans of water under the bed posts, take care not to let the sides touch ... -
think too much dusts & danduff will cost bed bugs..
saw on tv programme b4.. think every room wil have bed bug, only if is serious or not.. especially if ur room is carpetted, a lot of softtoy etc..
to kill them, u have to wash ur bedding/ carpet with hot/warm water ( dont really rem is hot or warm).
since she is mopping her floor, maybe she can try to mop with hot/warm water too.. (my 20 cents suggestion)
but if is very serious, tink is better to call the prof. -
ask her put her pillows inside a big plastic bag, put the vaccuum cleaner the end tt suck the dust one(dunnoe call wat) inside den tie a rubber band around the plastic bag to keep the plastic bag air tight den put use a vaccuum cleaner and suck out the bed bugs.

You know there are some holes that bedbugs can hide in.. either in wood or somewhere else, I used a hair dryer to blow. they can't take the heat and start running out. Kill them fast.

before sleep, hamtam the bed afew times. -
Check the gaps between the cupboards and the walls/floors. They could be hiding there.

Your friend needs to soak herself in a tub with dettol for at least 1 whole day!!
If a new bed & mattress still have the bed bug problem, the cause probably is the person sleeping in it!
Notwithstanding a new bed+ mattress, if the person sleeping has bugs in his body, the bugs will transfer into the bed ma, thus causing another infestation!
Go consult a doctor liao!

My home is encountering the same problem too. we did called the pet busters and it did help but for oni a month..... yeah just one month! they are everywhere. Better start early before it turns up to be like my home. Ask your friend to buy the steamer (my brother bought one) and steam it everyday is good.
Trust me it is better to start now!. For my home, we could only control it for now but to totally killed them would be hard. I read somewhere that they can live up to 3-6mths without eating human blood. My bros and i do clean our home area but they seems to come back. One reason might be due to my dad's room. Haiz dunt want to go into details about that but lets just say my dad could be stubborn at times.
It is really a BIG issue.... I have had many sleepless nights because of them. What i do is, i would steam all my beddings... the corner areas... EVERYTHING and only then can i sleep in peace but i know somehow they/new ones will come again.
My bros had tried:- Bed bugs solutions bougth from chemical companies and also DIY stores, sun the beddings (they are good at hiding thus only some might die), looking for informations on the net (some bed bugs formula which others had tried, throwing away those infected stuffs and bought new onces and calling the pest busters. All comes to no use. But we do know that there is this paint, insecticide paint which is effective in killing them. But it is no longer sold in singapore due to some chemical reasons. Now what we do is just steam them up. they will die... but yes more will come....
Hope bros/sis here can give some suggestions on how to rid them once and for all. And one more thing... if your friend is sure that it is only in one room better contain them in it. spray bygone/insect repellent at the room doors (i mean spray completely all the way frm the floor to the ceiling) dunt let them spread. do this everyday before leaving to work or sleeping. at least they are only infested in one room... my case is the whole house... only kitchen is bed bugs free. They will stay near the areas where people sleep or sit because that is when they will feed on our blood.
Pls..do share useful information on how to get rid of them. Thank s alot
