They are usually typical. They dyed their hair, and they have tons of piercings on their face. Actually there are some non-typical bengs who pierce also but trust me, if you are good enough, you can tell a beng from a non-beng.
Nowadays bengs love to criticise other ah bengs also calling them "ah bengs" when infact they themselves are one.
Now ah bengs all into all the scene cultures spoiling them. They started wearing band tees, acting all punk, emo and goth. But they speak hokkien vulgarities and basically just spoiling every damn cultures.
You know outside Orchard Cineleisure? During 2005 to the early 2006, there used to be alot of scene people there. Emos, punks, goths, and all the rockers cos there used to be alot of gigs.
And then nowadays, you dont see them there anymore, most of them moved to Far-East plaza already. Cos cineleisure is slowly being taken over by the typical bengs.
Ah lians are easy to spot, you can tell just by looking at one. Trust me. And those act-cute-lians usually will type LiiKe tiiShH w0Rhzxzxz! -
aiya some really act only la... got one time my fren tio dai ji he ask his flen come... the flen take his samurai sword come down only, the whole bunch chabbot... HUM... actually recently all the beng very mild leh, only the mouth active, call them to fite all leg weak liao... still will say u better watch out...

Ah beng last time in the 90s got uniform wan, much easier to recognise. Now very hard le.
Ah beng: White shirt, rolled up sleeves, black pants, long jpg wallet, sharp end comb, dyed golden hair, centre parting, ciggie, party at sparks or fire?
Ah lian: tuck in blouse until the neh damn protruding, carry sonia rykel bags, put damn strong and smelly perfume. -
