  0.35:1
  
  e.g in a turbofan engine, the 1 goes into the core engine, while the 0.35 is bypass.
  
  so is it 0.35 is bypass and 0.65 goes into the core engine?
  or
  every 0.35kg of air is bypass for every 1 kg of air enters the core engine?

  ratio 0.35(:1), 0.35 bypass, 1 core, total 1.35, low bypass ratio, bad FC, high noise.

  yup super noisy but FC is not very gd..
  so the total airflow entering is 0.36 for bypass and 0.64 for core?
