actually i dun tink so leh... i oso small kid 14 yr old... basic coutesy is common sense... unless those ppl nobody teach lor... or mayb pai kia... he bang into u wan u apologise... but my parents always say manner important... so i very gt manner de... like my frens, u block dem either dey say siam or f*** off de... now adays youngster is like tat... but not all... cannot 1 word say all bad...

Ai Yo... I think nowsadays, all people rude including me... it depends on mood actually, when people are in good mood, they tend to be more polite and wise versus...

I think people in Singapore are ruder now...
Some people in other countrys are quite courteous one... When i was in Australia and Japan, i find the people there very courteous and gracious. When you look lost, people will automatically come up to help you. In singapore, you go help people... they give you the kind of stunned look
Sometimes, i find singaporean behaviour very shameful... other nationalities from more courteous countries will find our attitude and behaviour indifferent and rude. quite sia suay...
perhaps... this is because our country's drive is always about 'being the best' and being kiasu.... not much focus on being helpful and friendly. -

you can't base this on a general note. there are alot of kids who are not rude/not as rude as you think.

just now on train back home, my cabin already got 3 groups of kids making alots of noise.
1st group of 3 secondary school chinese gals and 1 sec guy, talk and laugh very loudly, they even sing some chinese song out loud.
2nd group is 2 malay guys, think older then secondary school. Sit down then act cool. One face full of piercings. The other not much but his phone blasting music at the loudest volume. One malay uncle ask him to lower the vol. He just turn his head away and bochap.
3rd group is 2 indian gals. Dress like go clubbing like that end up on the train acting cute. Taking pictures of themselves acting cute, and stuff. The laughing out loud looking at them.
sighzzz...really all races kid also so noisy. Maybe I'm in the last cabin that's y. -
